You have decided on the qualification that best suits you – now you need to decide on a training provider. Why, then, should you choose academy³?

In terms of the ‘piece of paper’, there is no difference between a Diploma from academy³, a Diploma from the University of Sydney, and a Diploma from Dodgy Brothers RTO. The Australian Qualifications Framework makes no distinction, and demands that each institution equally recognise the Diplomas of other, nationally accredited and audited institutions.

Value nevertheless matters, and is an all-encompassing consideration that balances issues such as quality, convenience, and reliability with cost.

The four questions you should therefore ask of any training provider should be:

• What do I need to do?
• What support will I get?
• When will I finish?
• How much will it cost?

 
You might be surprised to learn that ‘prestigious’ training providers often trade on their brand to charge small fortunes for rigid, inflexible and out-of-touch vocational qualifications. At the other end of the scale, the so-called Diploma Mills might charge a fraction of the cost, but treat their students as cattle, and have atrocious drop-out rates (of up to 90%).
